A SPONTANEOUS MUSICAL EXPERIENCE

RBB

RBB is a deep dive into Americana with a hint of blues and soul. Rob explores an improvised approach to the rock, folk, blues and soul catalogue… playing everything from gospel tunes to Lou Reed and everything in between.

JAM BAND OF THE NORTH COUNTRY

Raisinhead

Formed in 2002 with a vision to play a wide variety of improvisational roots music. Taking from country, blues, rock, and bluegrass, Raisinhead has created its own musical stew. Following the tradition of The Band, Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, Little Feat, and Allman Brothers, sprinkle in some Talking Heads and Stones…well, you get the idea.

100% IMPROV

Stone Revival Band

This is a band that plays predominately cover music.  Originally formed about 10 years ago during a moe. hiatus, it includes Vinnie Amico of moe. on double drums. Band plays Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Traffic, Neil Young, The Band amongst other material.

STILLNESS IN THE SOUL

Meditation music

When Rob was in Prague in his late 20’s he had an experience that eventually gave birth to the whole idea of what his audience refers to as meditation music. “I was in this restaurant having dinner with my friend and this sitar and tabla player were playing. The music lasted for hours while we ate and drank. I realized the music was the tapestry of the night and was involved with everyone’s experience. Yet, it was not the focus of everyone’s attention, it permeated everything. The conversation, the food, it was a common thread to everyone’s night. It was background music and yet so profound. I wanted to recreate that in my own way where the music is just gentle and unobtrusive. Just a piece of what someone’s experience is. Background music that tries to get some stillness in the soul.”

“Beaulieu creates a timeless rock’n roll sound with introspective lyrics, memorable vocal melodies and great guitar playing.”
