The latest effort from the Raisinhead camp “Pocket Change”, was recorded at Blue Sky Music Studios in Delmar NY and produced by Scott Apicelli. The album focused on the songwriting partnership of Rob and Drew Costa and featured songs by Tom Pirozzi as well. The album generated the regional radio hit “California”. Penned by Rob, the song is sung by Ted Grey and featured longtime friend and local music legend Ace Parkurst on lap steel. The song highlights the wish to reconnect with the experiences and dreams of one’s youth, finding that paradise in the sun but knowing it may not be exactly the cure that is envisioned.
